Sussex Teachers was founded in 2007 by Mike, born out of frustration with the service large corporate, private-equity-backed agencies were giving schools across Sussex. We remain independent and family-owned, answerable to local schools, teachers and the DfE, not shareholders.

Safeguarding comes first
Every teacher and TA is interviewed face-to-face and vetted to DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) and REC standards: enhanced DBS, prohibition-list checks, references and Safeguarding & Prevent Duty training.
