Sussex Teachers is recruiting Qualified Primary Teachers (QTS) for
flexible supply teaching roles in Eastbourne and across East Sussex
primary schools. These are daily and short-term placements that let
you focus on the part of the job you trained for, teaching, without
the workload that comes with a permanent post.

The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher in Eastbourne, you will deliver planned
lessons in local primary schools while maintaining a calm, well-managed
classroom. You may teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2,
depending on your experience and preference.

Typical responsibilities include:

- Delivering planned lessons across the primary curriculum
- Teaching EYFS, KS1, or KS2 classes
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting pupils' learning and engagement
- Marking the day's work and leaving clear feedback for the class teacher

Pay and Contract

- £110 to £130 per day
- Paid weekly via PAYE
