Sussex Teachers are recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant for regular Tuesday cover at an inclusive mainstream school in the Hanover area of Brighton. You’ll return to the same school each week, get to know the staff and pupils, and become a familiar face in the classroom.

What you’ll do
You’ll work alongside the Year 6 class teacher to support learning, encourage pupils to take part in activities and help create a positive classroom environment. You may support individual children, small groups or the wider class according to the needs of the day.

We’d love to hear from applicants with recent experience supporting children in a school, childcare or similar setting. You’ll need to be reliable, enjoy working with primary-aged children and be available every Tuesday.
