A large and welcoming primary school in Worthing, West Sussex is looking to find a teaching assistant to join their team as soon as possible. You will be joining a large and forward-thinking school with creativity, ambition, and drive. Based in Worthing, West Sussex the school is close to public transport links and the A27.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of your pupils. This is a valuable opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives and educational experiences. You will be supported by friendly and experienced professionals to ensure you are fully equipped to offer personalised and high-quality support to the children in your care. Working with ‘some of the friendliest children in Worthing’, you will play a key role in ensuring children thrive and develop socially, academically, and emotionally.

Responsibilities

  • You will assist in the delivery of inspiring and exciting lessons, promoting high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
  • You will provide inclusive provision for all pupils, particularly for children with SEND/SEMH needs.
  • Starting ASAP and continuing onto the February half term.

Requirements

  • You have recent experience working with children, either within a classroom, nursery, medical or care home setting.
