Sussex Teachers is recruiting Primary Supply Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to work in local primary schools across Brighton & Hove. Whether you are looking for one day per week or a full teaching schedule, we offer a wide range of supply teaching opportunities across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons using school-provided plans and resources
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Adapt confidently to different schools, year groups and classroom settings
• Mark work where required and provide feedback for the returning teacher
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

Requirements:

To be considered, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A reliable, professional and flexible approach to teaching
