A vibrant infant school in the heart of Brighton and Hove are in need a key-stage one (KS1) Class Teacher to begin as soon as possible. Covering a long-term sickness absence, you will be responsible for the teaching, learning and assessment of Year 1 pupils for the spring and summer terms. The school are open to hearing from applicants who can teach on either a full-time basis, or 4 days a week (Mon – Thurs).

Working in partnership within a dynamic and committed Year 1 team you will develop and teach a creative curriculum to strengthen your pupils love of learning. You will be supported by committed and experienced colleagues, and a governing body who are committed to staff wellbeing and consider this in the development of all policies.

Requirements

  • To be eligible for this position you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Please note the school are unable to support ECT’s and so sadly are unable to accept teachers who have not completed their induction period.
  • Recent experience teaching within KS1.

Teaching happy and excited children throughout the summer term you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your class and have a real impact on their learning.
